Sign up and use Twitter as normal
When you join Twitterep, you provide your Twitter username and password. We need this to verify that you are the owner of the account you are signing up for. We keep this information on hand for interfacing with the Twitter API. It is secured and we will not use it for any other purpose.
Once you join, you can either follow other people (become a Twitterep for them), or advertise. Following others as a Twitterep is completely free, but if you would like to send a message through the system, you can purchase credits, for one half U.S. cent each. Whenever somebody clicks on a link in your message it costs 2 credits (one cent) and whenever somebody retweets your message, it costs 1 credit (one half cent). What this means is that $10 can buy you either 1000 clicks or 2000 retweets, making Twitterep the most affordable advertising system around.
If you account goes to zero, don't worry, all your links and tweets are still out there in the world, and will still take users to the page you wanted them to see, however Twitterep reserves the right to place advertising of its own in a thin banner across the top of the destination page, using simple HTML frames. In this way, you can keep getting more traffic off a $10 investment for years! Of course, you need credits in your account to send more messages and access metrics, but the content you have sent out through Twitterep will never be taken down or removed due to lack of funds.
